Annon-Guy: Dragon Ball Fighterz - Who do you think is the strongest form of Gogeta? Super Saiyan Blue or Super Saiyan 4?

I’m not an expert on Dragonball Lore...

SS4 is basically an“AscendedX2 Oozaru”, but doesn’t account for mutated species variants (Legendary Super Saiyan“green Ki” variants). The requirement is that the Saiyan must have Ascended at least once and still have their tail. (In other words, SS3 is optional.) Meeting those first two requirements and Ascending past the Oozaru stage, is SS4.

SSB is the“Ascended form” of a Super Saiyan God, but the requirements are much more strict and require multiple Ascended Saiyans with power to be present. Re-achieving such a state is even more complicated, especially given a single Saiyan can’t output that much energy on their own normally, no matter how many Ascensions/Mutations they might have made previously.

Even the concept of“Power familiarity” is rather vague, as it suggests that anyone who is approximate to anyone with a“godlike level” of power can also achieve such a level on their own... but even that is not guaranteed.

That’s like saying anyone who can hang out in Beerus’ house can get as strong as he is, just by living there. Or that once you get a taste of a God’s power, you can somehow re-achieve that power.

Put another way, it’s like saying just because you live near a Nuclear Power plant you’ll somehow develop Super-Atomic Powers.

Saiyans have an X-factor in that they evolve every time they survive near-fatal events, but even that has limits. Saiyans can still be killed, otherwise“evolving past mortality” as a concept would be absurd. In addition, the very concept of a God of Destruction would be absurd to a Saiyan evolved past mortality.

Even“wishing” for Immortality is an absurd concept in Dragonball, and rarely even explored. Even in the case of Goku Black, his body could not handle merging with that of a God despite immortality, and the end result would eventually deteriorate/destabilize to a sublimated essence.

Regardless of what you may think, Saiyan Evolution has limits, even if power is shared. Even in the case of a Spirit Bomb (Genki-dama), where multiple life-forms share their energy, the end result cannot be fully harnessed in a purely concentrated“effective” state.

Like mixing a cocktail, every ingredient will eventually be lessened the more it is mixed or the more ingredients are added... the“taste” or“effect” of the combination is lost.

This is probably why normal fusions do not last long in the first place, their efficacy is unstable.

SS4 would be a more“natural end result” for an active Saiyan’s lifespan.

SSB would be more of a“missing link subspecies” of Saiyan, rare to ever occur, if at all in terms of evolution.

That being said, there’s no guarantee that an SS4“could NOT” achieve an SSB status by mingling with other SS4-ascendeds of its kind. So an SSBSS4 mutation could also be achieved in theory.

In other words, the“standard” could also become the“derivative” under rare circumstances. But the“derivative” isn’t necessarily the strongest form of the“standard”.

SSB might be the“current strongest” form, but an SS4 still has potential to become an SSBSS4, so its’ theoretical strongest form still hasn’t been achieved.

Dragon Ball Super Cell

Plot- Cell has been training in hell offscreen for years and is apparently now stronger than the Gods Of Destruction. Cell has unlocked a diamond form similar to golden frieza, along with super saiyan god super saiyan KI. Ui Goku must fuse with Broly to win. Cell also has mastered UI and one shots Beerus. He kills Vegeta’s blue evolution and Golden Frieza. (But death doesn’t matter since it’s Dragon Ball.) Broly has unlocked A mixture of Super Saiyan Blue along with his green transformation and still gets whooped. [Power Scaling don’t mean shit. Like seriously if Jiren was already supposed to be stronger than Belmod, Broly is stronger than Jiren. How TF is UI Goku or SS Blue Gogeta/Vegito not surpassed Beerus by now? ] determined to be the most powerful in the omniverse Cell challenges SS3 Kefla and Hit, and one shots them both. Jiren and God Of Destruction Toppo are also no match in U11. Cell makes Jiren look like a bitch. UI Broku is still no match for Diamond Cell. Toriyama is forced to give Goku another lazy color swap outta of his ass. Which is supposedly all powerful at first but will eventually be used like any other super saiyan form. Just like how they go SSB 24/7. Mastered UI Teal Broku is still unmastered despite literally having mastered In in its name. Whis is forced to do a Thanos and “do it himself.” It’s up to Whis now to stop Diamond Cell from reaching Zeno and Daishinkan. For the first time in his life Whis the strongest angel actually struggles against Diamond Cell. Suddenly UI Shaggy appears and fuses with Whis. Shaggis defeats Diamond Cell. Goku’s dumb ass still wants to fight Cell again instead of keeping him dead.

Dragon Ball Super Broly Movie Review, How it should’ve been & Future Possibilities

DBS Broly movie resonates very closely & similarly with Android saga and Majin Buu saga, where the old guy in the room (Dr. Gero, Babidi, Paragus) gets killed one way or another and his not so innocent descendant/creation (Android 17, Buu, Broly) wreaks havoc only to be done with a miraculous climax by some saviours.

To be honest, it would have been great if there was an extended version of Bardock vs. Frieza fight scene & including murder of King Vegeta. They also skipped Beerus ordering Frieza to destroy planet Vegeta which was a disappointment. If that was the case, the plothole could've been probably solved in this movie and we could’ve got a Beerus vs. Broly showdown! It’s sad that Beerus was left out of the battle. Broly’s innocent persona is what makes him a different Saiyan than the rest of his kind, even with his father Paragus’s schemes. Gogeta was shown OP & savage than his uncanon SS4 counterpart.

It is remarkably weird that the introduction of a new non-Super Saiyan transformation, i.e. the Ikari or Wrathful form of Broly which utilizes the power of the Great Ape Oozaru by retaining humanoid form (even without the tail) exhibiting the true wrath of a Saiyajin, is shown to be stronger than Super Saiyan God form & on par with the Super Saiyan Blue. Maybe the training in the harsh atmosphere, ambience & savage beings & environment of the planetoid Vampa played a role in this, maybe with Broly being a lucky, one of a kind, Legendary Saiyan with untapped battle power. It’s funny how no one unlocked it in the history of DBZ, DBS. Maybe that’s what Gohan tried & wanted to achieve, an ultimate form without transforming into a Super Saiyan! But now we have some good possibilities based on this. In the future of the series, if Broly learns to control this Wrathful transformation (like Kale managed to do), and if he can combine it with both Super Saiyan & God-ki, that can be prove to be as strong as the Master Ultra Instinct or maybe Ultra Instinct Omen or Super Saiyan Blue Evolution at least. (depending how strong the future villain of the anime would be!)

Some animations were completely bizarre and weird, while some were very detailed. The plot of having revenge on Vegeta went off the rails midway into the fight as everyone realized Broly’s not in control. Gogeta should've used Big Bang Kamehameha instead of the God Kamehameha in the final climatic showdown. On a side note, I would’ve preferred Frieza reviving & training Cell to be stronger as his right hand man instead of that stupid wish to get taller by 5cms! Blizzard was lit AF to listen, both Japanese & English versions by Daichi Miura. Let's hope we see everything rectified in the DBS anime episodes in future.

This movie got somewhat spoilt already with the news of Toei re-releasing three old uncanon DBZ movies. They basically combined those 3 movies to form a great canon one. The plot could’ve been a little better and not had rushed at the same time by involving Gohan, Goten & Trunks in an active role instead of sidelining them.

One major thing which was rectified from the previous Broly movies was that he never called Goku for blood & not yelling ‘Kakarott’ every damn time. I think we get the difference between the two now. The earlier uncanon Broly was plain PTSD sadist psycho monster whose power level seems justified now. While the new enhanced canon Broly was innocent & full of potential and his whole wild life on Vampa not to forget. The rage which set him off to become a Super Saiyan was because of his father’s death. Either ways he can’t be controlled by the remote cause it got destroyed for good.

Frieza was once again left angry as a loser who's hell bent on taking his revenge on the Saiyans. Which leaves a few particular doors open for his brother Cooler to get canonized & team up with him next time. Abo & Cado make appearances as part of the Frieza Force & Tarble is once again referenced by Raditz. Imagine Abo & Cado troubling Tarble just for him coming down to Earth asking for help and Frieza scheming with his brother Cooler to strike back on Earth once again! This would be cool, making sense by canonizing both Tarble, Cooler/Meta Cooler by also combining the storylines of another 2-3 uncanon DBZ movies.

IMO they're bring these 4 Saiyans together to form unique fusions like Vegetarble (Vegeta + Tarble) and Karoly (Kakarott + Broly) some day hopefully. Giving Broly an Ikari or Wrathful transformation was really cool as a homage to the uncanon Super Saiyan 4 form from Dragon Ball GT. Let's hope he gets a new stronger form with God ki in the future.

But hey, remember the Old Kai saying he needs 25hrs to unlock Goku's hidden potential right before the Tournament of Power? And in the next movie we see Broly utilizing Oozaru's strength while retaining his humanoid form... Yeah maybe that's how Super Saiyan 4 will get canonized & maybe will get dubbed as a ‘Super Saiyan Ultra’ form which will combine Ikari/Wrathful with God ki/Ultra Instinct ki or both minus their tails maybe. Goosebumps right?

A (kind of) review on Dragon Ball Super, and DBS: Broly

Let me start this by stating that, like many people, I've been a fan of Dragon Ball since childhood. So when the Battle of Gods movie and Dragon Ball Super were announced, I was ecstatic in getting to enjoy more Dragon Ball.

Long story short, while I enjoyed Super during its run, I started to realize its flaws more and more in hindsight. Inevitably it must be compared to its predecessor Dragon Ball Z, as Z is arguably the defining work of the franchise. After all, if Z wasn't so popular, reshaping the series from its adventure roots in the original Dragon Ball into being much more focused on fights constantly increasing in scale, then we wouldn't have had the continuations that were GT and Super. Nearly all of the franchise's derivative works in film, video games, merchandise, et cetera come from Z more than anything else.

Anyway, I came off of Super disappointed that the show felt so underwhelming. I felt like so much of it lacked the drama that Z had. Super succeeded Z on a surface level with its exciting battles and new transformations. They're what you immediately think of when you think of the Dragon Ball franchise, after all. But I can say with complete confidence that Super, for the most part, lacked the character drama that made these fights and transformations constantly increasing in scale so engaging. My one exception to this is the Future Trunks and Zamasu arc. With the overt introduction to the world of higher gods in the Dragon Ball universe(s), Zamasu was the optimal response to the changing scale of setting as a villain and antagonist, showing how these gods and supposed overseers of their places in the multiverse could go wrong and how the lines between good and evil, right and wrong, and justice and oppression can be so thin that you might not even notice when you've crossed them.

The Universe Survival arc forming the latter chunk of the show takes a much greater presence, having been alluded to since the show's early Tournament of Destroyers arc, and the idea of it reminded to the viewers in the Future Trunks and Zamasu arc. With eighty contenders representing eight universes, grandiose battles are a given, with the fights featuring big name contenders being the most anticipated. All of this would lead to an impressive final fight between our protagonist Goku and his greatest enemy thus far, Jiren, who is rumored to be even stronger than a God of Destruction. It's natural that the show would reach this point, seeing as its first new primary character to the franchise Beerus be the new standard for the heights of strength, and then have the show culminate in his power levels being surpassed in some way. Dragon Ball Super carried that theme fairly well, if nothing else. However, the focus on this theme of ever-growing power and having fights take center stage really took away from some important things, and that's character and soul. It's what I felt Dragon Ball Z had that Super lacked. Behind characters like Frieza and Cell were legitimate malicious threats to peace and life. Frieza was a galactic emperor whose freely showed off his talents as an oppressor and genocider. Dragon Ball Z's introduction of the Saiyan race immediately led to the revelation that their people were destroyed, and following the introduction of the Saiyans came Frieza, who directly caused the end of their race. So while we have character goals and motivations in the Namek saga that have nothing to do with dealing with Frieza (Krillin, Bulma, and Gohan travel to Namek to revive their friends killed by Nappa and Vegeta, while Frieza wants the Dragon Balls for immortality), it's the clash of motivations involving the Dragon Balls themselves that ultimately lead to the fight between Goku and Frieza. And to have Goku, a lower-class Saiyan runt sent away from the destruction of his planet, become the strongest Saiyan of legend and be the one to defeat Frieza... you have to admit, there's some poetic quality in that. Goku doesn't defeat Frieza to avenge his species, he only becomes a Super Saiyan through pure rage after Frieza kills his best friend. The Namek saga of Dragon Ball Z features some of the best fights in the series -- not solely because of how cool and powerful everyone looks and is chalked up to be, but because of the drama behind each fight. The Android/Cell saga continues to carry this torch, with the Z Fighters trying to prevent their world from ending up like Future Trunks's timeline, and eventually a worse threat in the shape of Cell, whose threat constantly takes humanity and Earth mere inches from extinction and destruction.

And it's this drama that Super sorely lacks, and part of it can be blamed on Super taking place in the time of peace between the end of the Buu saga and the finale World Tournament. By then, Vegeta has already completed his redemption arc, a slow-bake that occurs through the passage of time and his marriage with Bulma and rearing of Trunks (both the ones from the future and the present). Goku returns to Earth as its first line of defense out of necessity after having willfully remained dead after the Cell saga, in his third lease on life. Beerus wanting to destroy Earth out of either lack of pudding or a Super Saiyan God is an incident that carries no weight or genuine malicious intent behind it. Frieza's revival is put to an end just as quickly as he came back. The Tournament of Power's erasure of most of the universes is quickly reversed -- and depending on whether you keep up with the television serial or the comic, this was expected by the tournament's holders. To summarize, Super has lacked a true major villain (aside from Zamasu), and in its stead keeps gods who hold the threat of destruction and erasure over the heads of universal populations, solely because it's easily expected of those in the positions of gods.

Now, onto Dragon Ball Super's first official film: Broly. I have to admit, they did wonders for Broly's character in giving him a backstory that's more than just him getting angry at another baby crying. Broly and Paragus have motivation in revenging upon Vegeta, for his king father's exiling of them. Frieza, this time around, is reduced to standing on the sidelines, serving as the catalyst for bringing Broly, Paragus, and Vegeta together, and only wanting the Dragon Balls for a frivolous wish. The first half of the movie was great for showcasing the new Broly and quickly garnering the viewer's affection for him as the story's (sort of) main character. However, after Broly and company land on Earth, the movie quickly defuses into a series of fights for the sake of fights. (Kinda like Goku, I guess.)

Vegeta responds to Broly and Paragus's hate for him with his fists in kind, as is natural. However, none of this issue is resolved in any way. No one ever brings up King Vegeta's exiling of Broly again, and Paragus never gets the chance because he's promptly killed by Frieza to push Broly into becoming a Super Saiyan. The blind rage of the Legendary Super Saiyan form is a weakness for his character, and not just in the way of Super detailing it to eventually destroy the user the more they fight and well up with power. This blind rage prevents Broly from being a character with motivation behind his punches, and makes him more of a walking power level like Jiren and his flimsy backstory. I should say that Jiren's motivation in getting a wish through Dragon Balls (however ambiguous said wish was kept in the television serial) is at least something of a motivator, however irrelevant it was to the conflict of the Tournament of Power itself. Broly on the other hand loses any rational thought and only wants to destroy anyone he sees.

Next up comes the issue of Gogeta's introduction to the canon of the main Dragon Ball timeline. I was looking forward to this as any Gogeta fan was, and was excited for a fight between Gogeta and Broly ever since the opening animation to Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3. However, while the fight itself felt great, I thought there was little in the way of justification for Goku and Vegeta to fuse aside from Broly's overwhelming strength. For characters like Goku and Vegeta who dislike fusing because they want to rely on their own strength, the amount of time given between their transformations into Super Saiyan Blue and when they flee and later become Gogeta was very short. Seeing as Super Saiyan Blue became the relative standard for fights in Dragon Ball Super, not seeing Goku and Vegeta being pushed to use the Kaioken technique and Blue Evolution form respectively to attempt to contend with Broly was a letdown. It could have really cemented just how strong Broly was, likely even stronger than Jiren, who bested both Goku and Vegeta together in said forms. Still, in a film you have to abridge some things. Maybe I'm overreacting for this one bit. After all, it did take a while for Goku and Vegeta to agree on and successfully perform the fusion. Still, it felt like glorified fanservice. Gogeta didn't get much in the way of defining personality traits to distinguish him from his Potara counterpart Vegito. Previous iterations of the character did better. Gogeta in Z's 12th movie, Fusion Reborn, was shown to be about business, immediately becoming a Super Saiyan before the viewers could even see his base form and taking down the film's antagonist Janemba in well under a minute of onscreen action, only cracking a smirk at the demon kid who causes the incident in the first place. The brevity of the fight is dissatisfying, but was enough to showcase his differences from Vegito, who joked and played around during his fight with Super Buu, and purposefully acting the fool. Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta in Dragon Ball GT had much more screen time, and played around more (to his detriment), showing off the hubris of an ultra-powerful character. This time around in Super: Broly, all we saw in regards to personality for Gogeta was him wanting to seem cooler with a name, and is arguably similar to his Fusion Reborn incarnation, only spread out over several minutes.

In the end, I feel like Dragon Ball Super: Broly was did a fair job at introducing new things, but failed in filling up those things with proper narrative substance. I don't think this movie stands up on its own as a film I'd go out of my way to see if I wasn't a Dragon Ball fan. But in regards to Dragon Ball films in general, Dragon Ball Super: Broly likely stands as the best among them.

Mystery Super Technique SS3 Goku- UNTESTED

When SS3 Goku’s EZA comes around, this team should fairly easily be able to clear 30, all 7 units have Resurrected Warriors, 4 of them have type advantage and the other 3 won’t have their damage reduced against him. Metal Cooler will get Dokkan’d whenever I get around to it, not exactly a high-priority unit right now, since he’s mediocre at best. I don’t really any potential issues with this team, I’m interested in how far I could push it.

Super Warrior of Destruction Legendary Super Saiyan Broly- UNTESTED

Friend Leader- Leader double

Now that I actually have the applicable unit to use the medals from this on, I’m just waiting around to be able to get them all with this team. All 7 have Hybrid Saiyan and 5 have type advantage, while the remaining 2 don’t have their type damage reduced. Obviously Xeno Trunks needs his medals first, and I’ll be working on those shortly, since he’s actually not a bad unit overall. If I run into any trouble I’ll switching out LR Future Trunks for GT Trunks, but I’m hoping his LR stats will be enough to keep his spot on the team. I expect to be able to clear 30 with a little luck and a few tries, I should be fine.

Family Kamehameha- UNTESTED

Friend Leader- Explosive Evolution Turles

I’m really not confident in this team’s ability to clear level 30 honestly, while it’s full Movie Boss, only 2 units have type advantage. 2 more won’t have their damage reduced, but the remaining 3 will, making them impractical at best. Fortunately, I don’t really care if I can’t clear 30 for this one, as none of the Family Kamehameha units are incredible. My personal prediction is like, 25 before I start losing a lot. Whoops.

Battle as a Namekian Piccolo- UNTESTED

I mean uh, it’s a team of TEQ units. They... do damage and whatnot. No Namekians on the team since their all pretty bad. I was on a bit of a break from Dokkan when this came around, so I missed it. Again, who cares.

Emperor's Devotion Frieza (Full Power)- Level 30 Cleared!

Friend Leader- Leader double

This was the first EZA I properly cleared, and it was a boozy. While my team wasn’t bad all around, only 2 units had Planet Namek Saga, making surviving a pretty RNG reliant task. Thankfully, all 7 units were strength so they had type advantage, but suitability was the main issue, with a bad rotation I was dead in a couple rounds easy at 28+. Gohan and Vegeta were the stars of this team by far, Gohan could tank and deal high damage, while Vegeta could counter to keep pushing out damage. I actually managed to clear level 30 in one attempt, thanks to Vegeta’s Rage giving me the damage and time needed to him.

Ultimate Power Surge Ultimate Gohan- Level 30 Cleared!

Friend Leader- Leader double

Nothin’ to it, this team stomped Gohan pretty easily, if I remember correctly I cleared 30 in one try. All 7 have Majin Buu Saga and type advantage. Both LRs cleaned up completely, and all 3 Gotenks did solid damage as well. Overall, this is about as good as it gets for this event I’d say, no problem at all.

If I ever see this EZA come up again, I will throw my phone away. This EZA made me stay up til 2 AM just throwing bodies at it until I got lucky. Sadly, only 3 units here have Future Saga, and thus the remaining units were severely hindered in usage. Gohan’s LR stats kept him on the team, while he couldn’t tank amazingly, his damage was still worth it. Gogeta was not so lucky, only on the team because there were no better options available to me. Interestingly, this team basically relies on LR Vegito Blue to tank and deal damage, the rest of the team is pretty supplementary with the exception of both LR Goku&Vegetas, who were able to tank and deal good damage thanks to their LR stats. I honestly can’t believe this team managed to clear 30, it was the result of lots of experimenting and way too much time.

JP ONLY- ALL UNTESTED

Heartless Destruction Buu (Kid)

Friend Leader- Leader double

I think this team can... probably clear 30. My only main concern with it is damage output, while all units are Pure Saiyan, only 3 of them have type advantage, and SS3 Vegeta is their solely for his tanking. SSBE Vegeta doesn’t have his damage reduced thankfully, but both LR Bardock and LR SS3 Goku will, making them more useful for tanking than damage. Fortunately, I don’t actually have the Kid Buu these medals are for, so I’m not super upset that I might not be able to clear it.

Devastating Punishment Beerus

Friend Leader- Leader double

Now here’s an EZA I’ll be upset if I can’t clear, as I both have the Beerus in question, and his is one of the best EZAs around right now.All 7 units have Realm of Gods, and 6 of them get type advantage. Unfortunately, Vegito Blue doesn’t get type advantage, but he also doesn’t have his damage reduced, so his amazing kit is a perfect fit here anyways, and will be one of the 3 main sources of damage, along with both UI Gokus. I’m not 100% that I’ll be able to clear 30 with this team, but I’m fairly confident that with enough attemps I’ll scrape a win out of it, or I’ll die trying.

Warrior's True Value Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta

Friend Leader- Leader double

This one is uh, a SS3 team. Yeah. SS3 Vegeta does’t have extra damage reduction against any Super types, so just avoid PHY units and you’re all set. I’ll be pretty pissed if I can’t beat this one, not because I care about the medals, but because like, how could I NOT beat this one?

Netherworld Demon Super Janemba

Friend Leader- Leader double

I’m actually pretty unsure of how this EZA will go for me. While all 7 units have Fusion, only 4 have type advantage, 1 with no extra damage reduction, and 2 with the extra 80% damage reduction. SS4 Gogeta and Ghostenks are essentially around to take up a spot and dodge attacks when possible. If I can beat it, it’s going to be due to be because of LR Goku&Vegeta’s insane stats and kit doing the work of 3 units on it’s own. While I don’t have the Super Janemba these medals are for, but I’d love to horde them until I do, since it’s one of the best.

Saiyan Outcast Broly

Friend Leader- Either leader double, or The Strongest Fusion Above All Super Saiyan Gogeta

The quest to make some F2P good is a harsh one, and I’m really hoping this team is enough to pull me through 30. Assuming a leader double, only 4 units will have Movie Heroes, but hopefully the type advantage of Vegito Blue is enough to make his damage good. On that line of thought, only 4 of the units have type advantage, but the remaining 3 don’t incur additional damage reduction thankfully. With some good luck, I think this team should be able to beat 30.

I really, really hate that this is my best team for this EZA at the moment. It’s honestly a mess, and I really doubt I’ll be able to clear 30, but I’ll have to try until my hands fall off, because Gogeta’s EZA is easily the best one yet. While all 7 units have Movie Bosses, only 2 have type advantage, none are unaffected and the leftover 5 all do heavily reduced damage. Despite all that, I’m REALLY hoping I can beat 30 with some good luck and some helpful pulls, but we’ll have to see.

And that’s all of the (important) Extreme Z-Battle out right now, and my teams for them. Honestly there wasn’t much point in these, just thought it’d be fun to write up. Hope you guys enjoyed!

Ending of dragon ball super: Broly REVEALED

Dbs: Broly, wow this movie seems like it’s going to be legit. The animation in the trailer was top notch. The redesigning of the characters was perfect and Broly’s legendary form was just too good to be real. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the trailer; I was like hoooooooly crap is this fanfic. Now the thing that bothers me is that how the hell Goku and Vegeta will beat Broly if super saiyan blue was struggling with base form Broly. In the trailer Broly transforms into the legendary super saiyan which looked like the strongest crap I have seen so far in the dragon ball universe, under the angels obviously. But it really got me thinking how Goku and Vegeta will defeat Broly. I mean ssb won’t do anything to Broly in lssg. And this isn’t infinity war where the good guys lose. So how about Goku going ultra instinct. So ultra instinct isn’t invincible as we see with goku's fight with jiren. Not only does it put strain on the body but it’s not very powerful. Its more technique based. To beat Broly who has been confirmed to be goku’s strongest foe yet by the creators, they’ll need an ace in the hole and in the words of the joker: mine’s Harvey dent, ok just kidding. What I’m trying to say is that. Vegeta has recently got a form which allows him to transcend all the qualities of ssb and gives him more power and ki control. Wait a minute isn’t that the exact opposite of ultra instinct. Power and ki control vs. technique and speed. Wait so is it possible that Goku up can fuse with Vegeta super saiyan blue evolution to form ultra blue evolution gogeta. I know right, sounds crazy but bear with me for I have proof. So why gogeta and not vegito. Because the potara earrings are with the kais and they aren’t here on earth. Also since akira is making one character canon why not make two, well three including paragus. We already know gogeta is a serious character unlike vegito and can end fights quickly, similar to what we saw against janemba. So this fusion might be used in the climax of the movie when everyone is beaten and battered. Just a way to quickly resolve things with an epic fight. Think about it, not only will this make ultra instinct last longer but make it stronger. It’s just too perfect of an explanation. I hope you can see this the way I see it. I don’t know if this is a good idea… but what the heck.

Majin Buu is a better villain than Cell.

The first half of OG Dragon Ball has aged poorly in a lot of places.

The anime making General Blue a gay pedophile is still the single worst thing the franchise as a whole has done.

The Resurrection F Saga was still more entertaining than the Black Star Dragon Balls Saga.

Super 17 is the worst villain in the franchise, followed by Broly and Omega Shenron.

The Otherworld Tournament arc was mediocre and so was Pikkon.

The 21st World Martial Arts Tournament is the weakest Tournament in the series. The only highlights were Goku vs Jackie Chun and the fight with Nam. The training stuff before that was fun though.

GT Pan and Uub are still the worst case of wasted potential in the franchise.

Yo! Son Goku and his Friends Return is a mediocre special and Tarble a completely superfluous character.

Oolong is the worst supporting character.

Jiren turned out pretty okay in the end.

Wrath of The Dragon was the best classic Dragon Ball movie. Everything else was mediocre to bad, with the exception of Deadzone.

Gogeta isn’t actually interesting. Like… at all.

Present Trunks is dull and Goten is just okay. I don’t really care about them being minor characters or not.

Beerus is a better character than anyone introduced in GT.

Nuova Shenron deserved better.

Pan and Uub should be the main characters in any Dragon Ball works set after EoZ

Vegeta is overrated. Like, VERY overrated.

Goku is a good father.

Krillin and 18 are probably the best couple in the series.

Anime Ribrianne is a good character.

Cooler is honestly not that interesting a character.

On that note though, Frost is actually a really good character.

Chichi is a good mother

Gohan from the Buu Arc through Super is more interesting as a character than he was as a kid and during the Cell saga. And the Great Saiyaman is fun.

We REALLY need more Jaco in the next Dragon Ball show.

Super Saiyan 2 and 3 are the worst super Saiyan transformations alongside Vegeta’s super Saiyan blue evolution form.

On that note, Super Saiyan transformations are nowhere near as interesting or important as people like to pretend they are.

Ultra Instinct is the best Powered up form.

Power Levels don’t matter.

Power Scaling has almost never made sense.

Toyotaro is actually a pretty average manga artist, and can’t even compare to Toriyama’s weaker efforts.

Heles is the best God of Destruction.

Zamasu was wrong.

i just wanted to go to sleep after posting this so heres a little bit of my thoughts behind the scenes now that i'm awake

for fusions, i want there to be a different feeling than the components, but working with features and concepts present in either or both of them. early on (like, months ago early) i was thinking about making there be some kind of like.. for lack of a better word i was sort of "budgeting" out specific traits for each fusion which i guess is Sort of still happening, but im being a bit more methodical about it in a way i'm not really sure is apparent but that felt fulfilling for me.

starting with gogeta, although my vegeta is Still just kind of There, there are concepts about him that im trying to bring out here, with more angular shapes. my goku has a bit of a soft, squared face for lack of a better way to phrase it, while vegeta has a very sharp face and features, so for gogeta i made his face look a little harder in terms of shape, if that makes sense.

in terms of hair, i gave him a more subdued version of vegeta's hairline and i came to that decision Semi-independently, as in i was like "hm... it needs something" and did that and then looked at a reference i had of him to find that he actually straight up Has vegeta's hairline as is, but only sometimes? convergent evolution but only a little bit. what i actually want to talk about is the process of actually figuring out what i want to do with his hair visually.

if youve been looking closely, you might notice that for goku i put down 2 to 3 shapes as a guide (1 to each side, and occasionally one more to define how the extra, kinda fluffed up part will look), and for vegeta, whom i think ive drawn like.. maybe 4 times on this blog comparatively, i only use one (basically a cone). for gogeta i needed to experiment a bit to find something that felt right. vegeta's hair is much more vertical, while i make goku's more horizontal and i want that sort of middle-ground to be handled in different ways in how i construct gogeta and vegito's hair.

originally i just gave him a wider and sort of flat shape but i struggled to make it either interesting in shape or like. make some kind of sense to me dimensionally

but im also proud of myself for this one honestly bc it took me 4 minutes to get to this point in the drawing and i felt kinda cool about it. younger me would absolutely lose their shit. im bringing this up now bc it then took me 14 minutes to try to do like. Something else with his hair

i came up with this and (highlighted in blue bc im not sure its really clear without the context of my brain) decided on the hair being Similarly vertical when compared with vegeta, but spread into three parts along the length of his head instead of just kind of vaguely trying to "fan it out"

it also ended up being taller and mostly no longer fitting the canvas but my thinking is basically, while vegeta's hair has a very distinct peak to it, gogeta's would have a less dramatic like... variance in height

i dont know how apparent the actual shape and construction connection is in practice to an observer, but its really more a mental thing on the backend. you may have seen how when i gave goku's face ye olde Circle Upon Which Everything Else Is Built head construction starter to try to be more exact about things, i kind of lost the ability to draw the shape the way i have been for the most part. it's like that. if i start something a certain way, even if ultimately the starting shapes are pretty much going to be obscured, it changes the way i approach it and it shows. and speaking of that, i also went about the process of drawing gogeta's face much more like how i would goku's. i guess more than anything its kind of a matter of muscle memory and if i worked enough at it i could probably make either approach more flexible but. who knows really. all in due time i guess

in terms of specific Additions to his design, rather than me just kinda doing things that better fit my artstyle and thought process, in order to give a little bit more distinct emphasis to fusions, i've decided that i want them to have white pupils to reflect a sort of magical nature to their existence. and also just bc i think it's fun. ive also wanted to make the metamoran clothing be a little distinct just to not necessarily be drawing the exact same clothes for every fusion dance fusion and ive had an idea for gotenks for a while, but aside from changing the tone of the colors (which is often more of a decision i make for the given piece im doing than one i make specifically as a part of the design) i didnt really have any sort of strong ideas about if i wanted to do anything for gogeta or what it would even be (as i've seen the inside of the vest be shown as yellow once and i Absolutely intend on doing that for gotenks but it felt kinda too loud for gogeta) until now. i didnt really notice how messy i left the yellow padding until looking at this while Not being ready to sleep, but that's inspired me to give him a subtle pattern of some kind, so that might be something i do with more intention and direction in a rendered piece?

Finding Dragonballs

The following is a way of quickly locating the Dragon Balls without spending valuable time smashing buildings or boulders. The entire set of Dragon Balls may be found within the first four episodes of the Saiyan Saga, the very first story in the Dragon Adventure mode. Follow the directions below to find the seven Dragon Balls. Note that you may need to re-enter the respective cities (yellow dots on the world map) a few times before the items appear.

Disable Active Codes

Hold Z + Plus at the stage selection screen. A sound will confirm this part of the code, then hold Z + Minus.

Easy Wins

Use the following trick when you are facing a strong opponent. When you have to chose a Z fighter, select the weaker one first and the stronger last in order. Then, start the fight. Choose a weak attack and try to dodge the first attack. Then, use a strong attack (your strongest move if possible), then switch your fighter and do the same procedure. If done correctly, you should have lost only a small amount of your life, and you should win.

Avoiding A Block

If you do a Dragon Smash on some of the more difficult opponents, they will block and send you staggering backwards. However, if you change the direction you are more likely to get a clear shot. Do an attack in the same direction too many times in a row and they will start blocking in the same direction. Try to vary your attacks.

Getting The Fox Mask

To get the Fox Mask, play the Majin Buu saga and go to the eleventh scenario. Defeat Yamcha and you will get not only 1,000,000 Zeni but also get the Fox Mask.

Hit Giant Characters

If you select Super Saiyan 3/4 Goku, Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta, or Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta, you can hit giant or buffed characters with melee attacks.

Ruined Earth Battlefield

Use a finishing special like Spirit Bomb on the Earth Wasteland during an Earth saga such as Sayin or Buu.

3 Different Ways To Get Easy Money

1 . In Dragon Adventure mode, play until you get to the Majin Buu Saga. When you make it to the Two Majin Buus storyline, you will be playing as Fat Buu. During that story, go to the top right area of the map and go to the Mountain Road area. Once there, Yamcha will offer you a contest to see how long you can last. If you either stay alive long enough or if you are strong enough to defeat him, you will be awarded with not only 1, 000, 000 Zeni, but you will also get Equipment Slots +4 and the Fox Mask fusion capsule. Once done, go back to the scenario selection screen and repeat. Increase Fat Buu’s attributes as much as possible to make this easier. It is recommended that you spend some time in the Android Saga scenario and choose the Goku Defeated! ? ! Story. Then, go to the bottom of the map to the Southern Capital. When you are fighting, destroy the buildings to look for a Dragon Ball. Keep doing this until you find them all then summon Shenron and hope that he has the Kiss From #18 capsule. That will bring up your attributes very quickly. hlui uibyl riudrims lymru 2. If you need to buy capsules for your characters early on in the Saiyan Saga or Frieza Saga, replay the event Mysterious Alien Warrior (Saiyan Saga 00) to unlock the hidden saga Fateful Brothers. During the events of Fateful Brothers (where you play as Radditz), there are several events where you can endlessly attempt the side battles against groups of Saibamen. Each victory will result in a green Z-Item called the Saibamen set, as well as some Zeni and experience for Radditz. The item Saibamen set can be sold at Baba’s shop for 150, 000 Zeni. Repeat this as many times as desired to purchase Z-Items for your team. Also, purchasing the four Purple Z-Items at the shop is also recommended. Each set of two can be fused into the items Halo and Majin Seal, which allow good and bad characters to use their Blast 2 techniques at half the energy cost. This is a very helpful item during some of the more difficult Sagas. After unlocking the Majin Buu Saga the other tip in this section is much more effective. 3. To obtain easy Zenny, fight in the Tree Of Might episode. Go into the wasteland and fight the three training Saibamen. After the fight, you will get the secret Saibamen set item which can be sold for 150, 000 Zenny. Repeat this as many times as desired to collect easy money. Note: This is best done in later sagas and when you use Super Saiyan 1 Trunks or Super Saiyan 2 Teen Gohan in the Cell saga and others.

Double Fist Power

Hold Z + Plus at the stage selection screen. A sound will confirm this part of the code, then press Nunchuck Right, Wiimote Left two times, Nunchuck Right, Wiimote Down + Nunchuck Down. A sound will confirm correct code entry.

Recommended Z-Items

The best Z-Items you can have are of the following: 1 Genuine Power, 4 Title (Tenkaichi), 1 Kiss of # 18, and either Majin Seal or Halo depending on your character.

Completing Story Mode

To get 100% in Story mode, get a good set of Z items to power-up characters. This will make it easier to defeat the high level characters you find in special battles. Find and complete (win by defeat) all of the special battles. This will unlock alternate plots. An example of a special battle is the Piccolo vs. Raditz battle. It is the very first battle in story mode.

Tail Power

Hold Z + Plus at the stage selection screen. A sound will confirm this part of the code, then move the Wiimote Down, move the Wiimote Up, move the Wiimote Left, move the Wiimote Right.

Easy Super Saiyan

Face the opposite side and press Up on the Classic Controller or Nunchuk and press Up on the Wiimote when pointer is on the screen. Then on Classic Controller hold L + B. Move the Analog-stick while holding L or Z + B. You should be away from your opponent. On the Classic Controller charge with L; on the Nunchuk charge with Z. If your “0” has turned into a “1” you are ready for Super Saiyan on the Classic Controller. Press Down on the Nunchuk. Press 1 button on the Wiimote or look at the skills list at the bottom. It should say “Transforming 1 button”.

Great Ape

Go to evolution Z. Then go to item fusion and select power ball under fusion type and select nappa, raditz, zarbon, orvegeta (scouter) under secret type and fuse and if you can’tgo to the item shop and buy Z item fusion then do it (buy a lot).

Switch Characters

During a Free Battle or Tag Battle if you want to switch your character before he or she dies, when you see a picture of the person with a flashing blue bar beside it under the person you are using, press 2 and your charecter will say something then leave. A few seconds later the person you chose to bring in the battle will teleport to the arena. Tip: If you want to switch out when your being either Grandpa Gohan, Master Roshi, Hercule or General Tao. They will run just off the ground like an idiot and it’s REALLY funny!!!!

Garlic Gun

When you Unlock Great Ape Baby, one of his moves is Super Galick Gun because he absorbed Vegeta. But!!!! When you play as him his move is Super GARLIC Gun.

Easy Win Against Cell With Hercule

In the Android Saga, you have to fight Cell Perfect Form with Hercule. An easy way to waste time is to repeatedly grab him. (shake the Nunchuck to the left or right once.) This keeps sending him away from you, allowing you to run. Use dash to run, or it will be difficult to win.

Top 15 worst things about GT?

Sigh. Okay, quick thing I want to ask people. Please don’t send me any more asks about GT.

I like talking about Dragon Ball, but I’ve made my feelings clear on GT, I’d rather just move on, and i don’t want to get into any discourse over it. God knows i get enough flak just for acknowledging ANY positive qualities about Super from this trigger happy, people with other opinions must die fandom. I don’t care about GT, I answered that last ask about it to mostly express a sense of closure over it.

I’m probably not even going to watch the show again, except whenever I decide to watch the full subbed version aswell so I can say someday that I’ve watched every Dragon Ball series completely both dubbed and subbed. But I’ve still got quite a bit of OG Dragon Ball and DBZ to go first, so lucky me. Otherwise I’d rather just forget about it and focus on the things in this franchise I like. There’s a reason I’ve avoided watching Dragon Ball Evolution, you know.

I’ll answer this for you anon because I like my followers and people who are just casually interested in hearing my thoughts on stuff. But I’d like to ask people to please keep the discussions to other things, if that’s alright with you.

But anyway, here you go then:

15: The Black Star Dragon Balls. Just see the entry about Piccolo’s death and my Baby Saga review, but needless to say i hate these things on a conceptual level for how they were used in the story, and the implications they leave for Kami’s character.

14: Master Roshi’s outfit in the last episode. Sweet mother of God, what where they thinking!? Come to think of it, half the new designs were terrible.

13: On that note: MY GOD, BABY VEGETA LOOKED UGLY! And to justify this being another slot, while I like Baby in general, he lost all his charm after taking over the world and just became boring and generic for the second half of the saga onwards. Basically just a bargain-store Frieza minus his charms, and his reasoning for wanting to take over the universe seemed clunky and not well enough explored.

12: Completely wasting the whole“Villains escape from hell” premise and instead turning all the past villains, especially Cell and Frieza, into complete jokes.

11: Rage Shenron being defeated BECAUSE IT LITERALLY STARTED RAINING. Like, I’m sorry, but that was just the most pathetic villain defeat I’ve seen in quite some time. The Shadow Dragons besides Nuova and Eis Shenron were pretty lame villains in general, but that just took the cake.

10: Gogeta was annoying and his“Fight” if you can even call it that is my least favourite fight in all of Dragon Ball. Really disappointing after his cameo in Fusion Reborn.

Come to think of it, most of the fight with Omega Shenron (Who’s about as boring as Broly by the way) from that point could count, because it just got completely ridiculous and boring, and a big disappointment for what was supposed to be the final battle of all of Dragon Ball. Especially how they lazily redid the spirit bomb ending of the Buu Saga, only did almost everything wrong where in the Buu Saga the execution was perfect.

9: The way most of the cast became pretty much useless and almost no one had any development or relevance. Heck, even after gaining super saiyan 4 (In incredibly cheap fashion that feels unlike Vegeta) Vegeta doesn’t do anything impressive himself.

8: Majin Buu’s fridgeing. I wouldn’t mind the idea so much if Majuub had happened near the end of a better series, where Majin Buu and Uub had both gotten a lot more screentime and development, and Majuub felt like something that was built up to and earned, and was what saved the day instead of just Goku doing it as usual. But the way things played out, it just felt like the whole point of it was to kill off Buu without doing much of anything interesting with him in this show, so it just felt wasteful and anti-climactic.

7: Everything about how Android 17 was handled. Way to completely screw over a character’s big comeback and destroy all potential for development from them. Thank God for DBS doing him justice now.

6: The handling of Pan’s character, as I described in detail in my Baby Saga review. But then again, what could we have expected when the writers outright admitted that the only reason they had Pan around was so that she could get beaten up by the villains to make Goku look better by comparison.

5: Piccolo’s death. Unnecessary, the reason for it was terribly written and opens up a half a dozen plot holes for how Dragon Balls work, and it’s just all around insulting to one of Dragon Ball’s best and most beloved characters.

Only made worse by how they then have him shoved into hell to become the ogre’s whipping boy, something he clearly isn’t comfortable with in the last episode, and we never know if he gets out of there. WHAT THE HFIL, WRITERS!!!???

4: Goku’s stupid prank waggling a Dragon Ball in front of Pan’s face saying it was Naturon Shenron about to possess her again, after he was ALMOST FORCED TO KILL PAN TO STOP HIM, and Pan was still left horribly battered by the experience.

Goku… the kind of experience Pan went through would give even strong willed people horrific trauma and a bad case of PTSD. She was already in a bad state at the time, you very well could have instigated a fatal panic attack from her… ALL FOR A CHEAP LAUGH!

That might have been the single worst joke in all of Dragon Ball if it wasn’t for General Blue creeping on Obotchaman. It left me nearly as disgusted as someone who’s seen what this kind of “Joke” can do to people with trauma. SCREW. YOU. GOKU. You deplorable excuse for a grandfather!

3: Episode 15 was the single worst episode of any Dragon Ball series. it’s the embodiment of everything wrong with Pan’s handling in the series, has a badly botched and thus VERY toxic moral. You think letting Gohan fight Cell was irresponsible?! Then pal, just go watch this episode and see how bad that could have been were it actually true!

2: The ending. Good God, i hate that ending. It made no sense, was not satisfying, and completely missed the point of what kind of a hero Goku was in favour of turning him into King Arthur/Space Monkey Jesus.

Goku is not a chosen one, Messiah like figure. He’s a guy that just goes about his life doing what he wants, and happens to keep running into situations where he ends up saving the day because he’s a good person, and would probably just live a normal life if trouble didn’t keep finding him. And that’s one of the most important things that makes him interesting and unique as a character to me.

The ending completely misses the point of that and I don’t like how it presented him, especially since it ties into the biggest problem i have with the show, and the execution of the whole thing was sloppy and confusing.

1: Completely shafting Uub and making him more or less irrelevant, and thus completely destroying the point of the ending of the manga and the natural story progression of the series.

And, that’s pretty much it. If you like how any of these things were handled, then okay, that’s fine. But these are just some of the things that really make it difficult for me to enjoy the show.
